Default Would you rather have Garrard or McNabb?

I know gobb thinks the comparison is a joke and that McNaab is in a class that Garrard is nowhere near. Who would you guys rather have playing quarterback right now?

Right now, McNabb is having a better game than Garrard.

lol mcnabb is past his prime you idiot. The reason gobb debates with you is because you dare to put garrard on mcnabb's level. It's like comparing carson palmer to tom brady.

Oh, ok, cuz his passer rating is 104.9 for the season, but I guess if he was playing poorly on the last half dozen set of downs, you probably know what you're talking about.

And I don't even think highly of Garrard at all. But I've been telling gobb that mcnabb is overrated for a long time, and now that McNab finally is in a position where its being exposed I'm curious of gobb still thinks he's some elite quarterback.

Explain how. Tell me what skills as a quarterback he somehow doesn't have anymore because he's 34 years old. Hopefully you don't embarrass yourself and say running because he is still plenty capable of doing that.

Oh, and Brett Favre had one of his best seasons last year at 39 years old. Kurt Warner was playing in a Superbowl at like 36 or 37. Quarterbacks don't simply "not know how to play anymore" because they're 34 years old. In fact, Isn't Tom Brady 33???

LOL i don't know why I'm even humoring you and pretending like you're worth having a football discussion with. You are as football retarded as you are basketball retarded. The team around McNabb is worse than ever and it exposes his weaknesses, and a dummy like you blames it on mcnab being 34 years old LMAO

Garrard is like Jekyll and Hyde. one game he'll play nearly perfect but then the next he'll throw up a stinker.

More often he's a mistake-free QB but he's not gonna put up godly numbers when hes having a good game either though.

Numbers mean very little. Ryan Fitzpatrick is putting up Godly numbers and is the #1 ranked passer in the league.

Garrard doesn't put up big numbers because his offense isn't designed that way. Even if he did put up big numbers, it wouldnt necessarily make any better of a quarterback.

Garrard is a very poor decision maker, and doesn't have good long-range accuracy. He's a good short and medium range passer and is the hardest quarterback in the league to bring down to the ground.

But the point is, people thought McNabb was really good when he was running Andy Reid's offense and playing behind probowl linemen like Jon Runyan and Sean Andrews. If people were judging him by his specific ability and not stats and hype, they'd have been able to predict his exposure on the Redskins as I did.

Of course, gobb didnt do that. He's a stats and hype guy. Dude knows nothing about anything. That was really the point of this thread.

You are one of the stupidest MFers I've ever talked with. You actually think mcnabb can run like he used to in the early to mid 00s? Seriously? The dude used to go for 300-500 yards a season back then and now he only goes for 100-150. Are you serious? And I guess because brett favre had a great season at 40, it means all QBs get better with age right? Haha, great generalization retard. Lets totally ignore the fact that mcnabb relied on his athleticism a shitload more than favre did and that is what decreases with age.

And do you know who he had for recievers? Todd 'alligator arms' Pinkston, Greg Lewis, and Freddie Mitchell ( ) are among the best he had except of course for T.O., but they went straight to the superbowl when he actually got a good reciever.
This guy always feels the need to drop knowledge on people like he's some genius but he's been labeled the forum dumbass so many times it's not even funny.
