Yea I agree, like my coach. No reason I shoulda been benched.I was simply speaking the truth.Mike D'Antoni is stubborn. He'd rather see his style of play executed than us win.I honestly think that if everyone shot over 60% and hit a bunch of threes and we still lost,he'd be ok with that. It's the only reason I can come up with why this guy continues to start guys like Shawne Williams and Wilson Chandler on big PFs.

During our first 6 game losing streak, that's what we were doing (the 3's) and he was OK with that, he said it himself. That's why I started the "TAKE A HIKE, MIKE" thread.

And he once said that Wilson reminds him of Shawn Marion. Maybe that's MD's downfall. This ain't Phoenix and the only player that reminds me of ANYONE on that team is Amar'e. Pun intended.

I think Mike D'Antoni is a one dimensional coach and he REFUSES to think out of the box.

Yes,you could see he was giving his best.

I don't like when Amare is playing the center but I certainly like when he battles for rebounds (especially offensive rebounds,he had a nice putback yesterday).

He scored 41 on extreme efficiency.

I would like to see us play like yesterday until the end of the season.
We played good defense and we rebounded the ball well.
I must notice that our offense was good, not just shooting bunch of threes and hoping it will go in.

If we could play every game like we played yesterday we could go further than the 1st round of playoffs.

Amar'e Stoudemire Unsure of StatusBy Allen Kim
(Knicks Featured Columnist) on February 15, 2011

2011 NBA All-Star Game: New York Knicks' Amar'e Stoudemire Unsure of Status
The New York Knicks only All-Star, Amar'e Stoudemire, is unsure of his status for Sunday's All-Star game due to a sprained right big toe.
"I'm not sure. We'll see how the toe feels after the Atlanta Hawks game tomorrow and go from there," Stoudemire said Tuesday. "If I don't play, I will definitely have to participate, which is fine with me. I wouldn't mind playing a few minutes. But if my toe feels great then I'll play."
Stoudemire missed his first game of the season Saturday night, and while he plans on playing tomorrow night against the Atlanta Hawks, that doesn't necessarily mean he plans on participating Sunday night.
However, the league frowns on players sitting out of the All-Star game if they're able to play in their final regular season game prior to the All-Star break.
If Amar'e Stoudemire sits out of the All-Star game, who should replace him? Fellow teammate, Raymond Felton?

I wouldn't mind that either. But STAT wants to play BAD. He's thinking of Al Horford.

He shouldn't play this game but should really skip the All-Star game. He needs the rest.

I seriously doubt he skips the ASG.

He probably tells the coach to play him just a little though like 5 minutes each half.

Even in the AS game D-12 and STAT were under the basket and Kobe went in between them and did a reverse dunk. I don't know how that tandem would work out in the future. lol

It's an all-star game.

Nobody plays defense, especially at the beginning.
Just look at the score, 148-143
