Reggie Williams playing great in supporting role
San Francisco Chronicle reports:
Before the season, Warriors coach Keith Smart said he wanted Reggie Williams to develop into a player like Vinnie Johnson, nicknamed "Microwave" for his ability to come off the bench and instantly heat up a scoreboard.
It's starting to smell as if the TV dinner is ready.
Entering Saturday's game against Minnesota, Williams had scored in double digits in five of the past seven games and averaged 12.3 points during the stretch. After struggling to understand his role early in the season, the second-year guard is starting to flourish for a bench that desperately needs some firepower.
