Don't forget that they needed this nice winning streak to get over the huge losing streak they had earlier this year. They haven't overachieved yet, or anything like that.

I actually thought they would be a 45-50 win team. I thought that Gallinari would be better this year, and be a legitimate second option. With Amare drawing defenses down low, I figured he would be able to light it up this year and score 20 ppg. I figured Chandler to be around 18 ppg, and Amare to be around 24 ppg. I didnt' expect Felton to be as good as he is. I thought he would be about 14/7 or so. I also thought they would get some production out of Mozgov. I was hoping he was NBA ready but he is not. I thought he could 8-10 ppg and about 5 rpg.

I think we'll be about a 40 win team because we start off with alot of easy games.I think we've only beat like two teams over .500 Now do I expect a nose dive @ some point this year? Yes because we cant defend BUT I think with us winning now,our confidence will steal a game or two against a top team that we really have no business winning otherwise.

Rumor has it....Houston may be willing to gives our pick back for Randolph.

Knicks trade Randolph, Rautins to Houston for 2011 drafts rights and Ish Smith, Patterson

Knicks trades 2011 1st, Gallo, Douglas, Fields, and for Melo.

In another deal......

Knicks trade Eddy Curry, Walker and Buike to Portland for Camby and Rudy.

Knicks do this one for a playoff push to contend and Portland is always looking to shed salary.

Sign Rafer Alston and Larry Hughes to fill out the roster again.

Knicks lead the league in forced turn overs and blocks. Its not like we are so terrible on defense that we cant stop a team every once and a while.

None of those trades are realistic. None of those things are going to ever happen outside of playing NBA 2K.

Steals and blocks dont equal good defence.

We've allowed the 2nd most ppg in league if im not mistaken.

Those trades ideas were strictly hypothetical.

But I forget, the Knicks are winning games, so now we get complacent and start to think this is a 50 win team now.
