If Werth can get 120, Crawford should be able to get 150+.

he's a stud but definitely not worth this money or this length of a deal. Not sure what Nationals are trying to do, Ryan Zimmerman and Jayson Werth won't get it done alone they are still 1-2 legit stud bats away from having a good enough lineup to push. The staff is below average to, seems like a waste of money on werth even if he beasts they aren't going anywhere.

Anyway this means Dom Brown will play everyday for Philly now?

Why let go of Adam Dunn, then?

Probably. Crawford leaving will free up Desmond Jennings to play too. Should be fun to see these 2 young guys all year long. Maybe they will have an impact like Austin Jackson did.

This is the one thing I don't like about the MLB, no salary caps.

I wonder how much money Boras makes in a year. Any guesses?

Eh, I mean the Washington Nationals of all teams signed him. A salary cap wouldnt prevent teams from overpaying guys. See the NBA.

I wonder how scared GMs get when they see Boras walk into a negotiation. I would definitely sign with him if I were a pro athlete.

Yeah, salary cap does nothing. In fact in can cripple teams with money because they can't spend their out of trouble and talentless rosters.

He must get 5-10 percent of his clients salaries each year. I don't know how many guys he represents, but it's gotta be a fairly big number of guys. He'll probably make more than Mil a year out of Werth alone.

I'd be surprised if it was less than 10 mil a year.

But it might promote more teams to spend more wisely. I still want a salary cap regardless.
