Oh yeah, the dramatic attention whore chick.

I think its hilarious when people pull the "I don't feel like talking about it" about something they posted on facebook. I guess posting something on a public website is a good indication you don't want to talk about it.

Sorta like the 'OMG I look horrible here'. Why post it in the first place if that's the case ?

I have a buddy who works in sales that did that recently.

He had something go terribly wrong the other day at his job, posted a vague status update about the situation, and when I questioned it, he sent me a text stating "oh, I really can't talk about the specifics on facebook."

Well, why did you post the update in the first place, then?

The ones who feel the need to post every detail of their dull daily lives. Who care about you heading to the laundromat

I was about to post the same thing. Some people act like its twitter and write about everything they do.

''taking the dog out for a walk''
''heading to work''
''studying''

...GTFO nobody gives a f*ck

2, 3, 4, and I guess 9 are the ones I see most. I don't fit any of those categories.

The one I see most often (Maybe I just notice it most often because it irks me, horribly)- The one who posts every detail about their life.
"Just woke up"
"Showered"
"Going to work"
"Home from work. Time to party!"

It's like come the **** on. If they do this often enough, I just ignore their posts.

I only chat with friends I am close with, unless I get msged or someone from class. The only statuses I post are if I am watching something that I think may be of interest to others, or may remind them of a game they would have forgotten about- Sports games, movies, TV shows, etc.

One I would like to add- 'Mr. Overachiever'
Talks about how hard he's studying and working all the time. Never misses a beat to tell you about the 95 he got on his biochem test. Yeah, no shit; you spend 8 hours a day studying. Has a huge ego, but e-attention whores with fake self-deprecation, fishing for comments- "Just don't know if I am good enough." "Do I have it in my to continue on..." . Then you have those dumb****s who take the bait- "Oh no, you're so smart! You are going to do great things.." yada yada.

I have one (ex roommate) who does this daily, multiple times a day.

These are ones people have posted that I see a lot:

"I think its hilarious when people pull the "I don't feel like talking about it" about something they posted on facebook. I guess posting something on a public website is a good indication you don't want to talk about it."

One dude I know used to post the "I'm depressed" type statuses all the time. It's dropped off now.

One of the biggest facepalms I've made was when this girl posted this status:

Quote:
‎American Airlines STILL CAN'T FIND MY BAG!! My whole life is in that
bag! Not to mention I had an allergic reaction to something and my lips
are swollen to the size of Montana!

Few minutes later:

Quote:
THEY FOUND MY BAG! THEY FOUND MY BAG! THEY FOUND MY BAG! THEY FOUND MY BAG! THEYFOUND MY BAG! THEY FOUND MY BAG! THEY FOUND MY BAG! Good thing cuz I started calculating up the worth of everything inside and it was already up to $1953 and I wasn't even finished yet!

Knowing the type of girl she is (dumb bimbo comm major that claims she invented hollister), I wasn't surprised.

She honestly thought that all Asians could blow "smoke" out of their mouths.
