Re: Ginobli took about 20 steps on that game winner
I gotta be honest, I'm not sure if it was a travel or not. I was too busy looking towards my brother after the shot saying, "See, told ya it was going in."
Re: Ginobli took about 20 steps on that game winner
I just saw it. I must admit that at normal speed from the usual camera angle it didn't appear to be a travel to me. It did look awkward though. Does someone know the rule on the hop step kind of move? The rules I have saved on my computer don't really explain it at all.
Re: Ginobli took about 20 steps on that game winner
It is a travel. What Ginobilli did by planting and hopping off the right and then landing left and hopping again is basically a weird looking change of his pivot foot. Change of pivot foot = travel.
Regardless the Spurs won. No game is ever won or lost exclsuively on one play.
Re: Ginobli took about 20 steps on that game winner
I just saw a slow-mo of it, and now I'd say it was a travel. But like I said, at normal speed it was to pick up so I can't really blame the refs for that (I'm obviously not a Bucks or Spurs fan).

It's both funny and sad that all the Bucks' bench players were sitting, seemingly indifferent, as if they were already 30 points behind and not even after this possible violation did anyone bother to respond. Is this a real team?
