It DID bug me for a minute but I got over it.

When it was all said and done those guys bought me all types of stuff and she was giving me money....so why be intimidated?

Just do the best you can and always keep some thing's to yourself just in case.
I wouldn't be intimidated by it, I just don't think I would like it...

I have always been a control freak and I have to be the "man of the house"...

seems like it is impossible to be the man of the house if you aren't the one paying the bills, that's all...

hell most women are the "man of the house" these days even if they are house wives....lol...I just can't put up with that kind of BS...it isn't fun

When I first got married i was like that. I would pay the whole rent and let her do what she wanted to with her money but that got old quick.

When it all boils down to it it doesn't matter who is doing what as long as the woman of the house is happy.

You gotta lay it down the right way and it doesn't matter what you do lmao....

that is SO true and I f*cking can't stand it...

seriously, I hate what society has done to the role of females these days...

that was NOT the way it was in the 50s - 60s - even 70s

somewhere in the 80s and 90s we let women "wear the pants"....why did we let this happen????...

My girl is a MD and makes coin. I was crushing on her long before she even knew who I was (we're both from the same hometown). I put so much energy into the universe that when I finally got my chance there was an instantaneous connection that was unlike anything I've ever experienced. Long story short if you want something bad enough nothing will get in your way.

Idk man, I think around the time when political correctness was coming into play in our society.

I mean women were crapped on for so long it had to change at some point....but now I think (as is the norm with humans) it or they (or we) have taken it too far.

I just threw up...lol

jk dude I am really happy for you, that is great...

however I think when a girl doesn't want you there really isn't too much you can do about it...I bet most of us have experienced a "broken heart" and sometimes no matter how bad you want that girl back there is just nothing you can do if she doesn't want you...

No doubt man.

I just noticed you were from Dallas...maybe I knew before, but I'm thinking the Vick avatar is throwing me off.

I've been to Dallas, Houston (and the surrounding areas), Wichita Falls, and San Antonio.

We snuck off base in tech school and drove to Dallas it was fun as hell man.

Strip clubs you can bring your own booze to?

Tell me why I was looking for a Caddy with the horns on it like Boss Hawg tho, lmao!

So I'm not sure how to approach this delicate situation... Should I do my best to just be myself, or should I put on somewhat of an act and pretend to be a bit classier than I really am. Regardless of what I do I'm really nervous about this. I'm not ready to jump in a relationship, but I could see myself getting serious with her sometime down the road, so I want to take things extra slow and play my cards right.

Would it be too corny to give her flowers on the first date? Or do I need to act like I don't give a f*ck about her?

And while I'm at it: Does this technique of getting a girl to go out with you ever work?

Stacey Dash and Damon Wayans in Mo' Money(1992)

I call it the extra persistent game. Where you go out of your way to let the girl know she's the $hit and you would worship her.

The worse thing you could ever do is be somebody you're not.

say it again, lol. I was going to say something similar.

When you have to use lines and pose instead of using your true values and natural wit then you have a problem.
