It's decent, and is actually pretty scary at times, just don't buy into it being truthful. Milla Jovovich opens the movie with a very earnest and seemingly truthful message to the audience out-of-character about everything that happens in the movie being reenacted events which actually occurred, and that the video footage is 100% real no BS, but it's all BS. Here's the actress who plays the supposed "real" woman you see in the supposed real footage:

She wasn't even credited, however.

Yeah, it actually did scare me a bit. But then I went home and google it and realized none of it was real. Still decently enteraining tho, just don't waste any time trying to prove its real like you might want to.

There are many good and bad things about this movie.Unless you are a big fan of alien/sci fi (which i think you are)type of movies you will forgive its flaws.

The first part of the movie is great and really keeps you into the movie, somewhere around when the sumerian history professor comes in it starts to become a cluster****.Still i think you will enjoy the movie like other posters said it is fake no matter how hard they push that its real.
