The first was amazing and really pushed the 1st person genre forward. Invisible war for me didn't have the same appeal, I still even to this day never got more than 75% through it. I think they tried to do too much with the current hardware at the time.
I found everything to be dumbed down and simplified in Invisible War. Smaller areas (more loading), universal ammo? Seriously?, worse inventory system and some of the worst enemy AI I've ever encountered in a game. I could slap around and kill guards all I wanted in just the next room and no one comes after me. But do it in front of a camera and the whole building will be on your ass.
The first one seemed like it was made with the PC in mind and therefore more depth to it. The 2nd one was for consoles and I guess their goal was to streamline it but it just made it an awful experience.
Uncharted 3 by a country mile.
HUGE fan of Max Payne; so definitely copping Max Payne 3 when it comes out. The Batman sequel as well. NBA 2K12, 2K11 was sensational, best sports game I have ever played. I'm excited to see if 2K12 can be even better.
Mass Effect 3 (to an extent, I purchased ME 2, going to play it later this week for the first time; but I heard great things from almost everyone who played it)
The Last Guardian
Infamous 2 (to an extent)
IGN actually places Uncharted 3 above the highly acclaimed Mass Effect trilogy; just goes to show UNCHARTED is pretty much the greatest game on earth. Seriously there isn't a better game out there; as much as I love GTA 4, it doesn't even measure up to the experience you encounter in U2.
Been pretty detached from the gaming world over the past year Fifa and live 10/2k11 were my main two games throughout it, however for 2011 i'd have to say i'm looking forward to Gears 3, Portal 2, the new Ghost Recon, 2k12/elite? and i'll probably consider crysis 2
Mortal Kombat 9 - I'm surprised there are some people here that haven't seen reviews of it here. if you look to the 2nd and 3rd pages, there should be something. I can't wait to play it...UMK3 is one of my favorite games of all time, and it looks very similar.
Pokemon Black/White - This one i'm not too sure of. I managed to learn the pokemon introduced in Diamond/Pearl, but to add another 150 just seems like overkill.
Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword: Do i really have to explain?
