he has good potential, if he can get more disciplined with his shot, he can be a better player, he needs to get stronger in the upperbody cause everytime he drives or fakes, he gets knocked the fu.ck down hard. he will get hurt eventually if he continues doing this.
hes only been in the league 3 years, so far hes a decent role player. If he can get that mindset to dominate, it would be great, he has the tools to do so.
My only concern is that if we do trade him, and he DOES pan out and reaches his potential. Then I would be pissed
If that happened, he will someday be a FA again. And hopefully we will have the money to sign him. By that time STAT will be near the end of his playing days. (Unless Galli will be pissed at us).
Might actually be more beneficial for him at this point in his career to come off the bench, he's sorta like a cross between Toni Kukoc and Detlef Schrempf. I swear if those two had a baby and it had some of each ones skills to a medium it would've created Gallo lol
Lol. We should trade Chandler he has to leave any ways doubt he'll resign even though I love him game and improvement but if we can make a good deal for them two it would be nice to have Carmelo here in NY with stat.
Will said he wants to stay in NY, Walsh said he is going to do whatever to keep him so unless he is in a trade for Melo, I tend to believe he will be staying. He is the most diverse player on them team being able to play three positions (SG, SF, PF). He also is getting better and kind of reminds me of a young Shawn Marion without the rebounding skills.

I hope Walsh gives him a good contract, he deserves it. He's shown much improvement over the years and wants to be a Knick. We need a player like him, someone who is drafted a Knick and stays a Knick for a loooong time.
