This sucks. He shouldn't have went to a team that basically just buys every player that's available to them.

Santa Cruz
Adebayor
Balotelli
Tevez
Jo
Dzeko

How many strikers does this team need? And they only play with one striker at a time too. Horrible.

Default Re: Dzeko To Man City

Dumb move by Dzeko going to the black hole called man city. City still clearly have zero idea how to build a football club, I mean christ you already have Tevez, Balloteli, Adey, Santa Cruz and Jo all competing for time upfront along with Adam Johnson, Silva and Yaya so where the hell us Dzeko gonna fit in again? Edison has no idea what hes getting himself into going to a team with all these head cases and its a shame cause Dzeko is pure class i hope money buys him hapiness cause he'll be rotting on the bench soon enough just like every other star that goes over there after that honey moon period us over. btw juventes what a bunch of dumbasses you are Dzeko stated time and again he wants to come there yet you make no offer? especially knowing you have no attacking power upfront.. smh.

Sorry bro, he's just another player who'll get lost in the rotation. Least he'll be getting paid.

referring to a seemingly bottomless money-pit, enjoying its best season ever under the tenure of a manager only one full year in the job as a "black hole", is downright laughable. adebayor, cruz and jo, players brought in before mancini came to the club will undeniably be shipped out, more than likely at a huge loss. Having 3-4 world class strikers to choose from is hardly an unwanted situation.

edit: the arsenal-man city game has started great. a fully fit robin van persie is one of my favorite football players to watch.

city play the 4-3-3 / 4-2-3-1 formation, theyre allready struggling to accomidate players on the wings and tevez has made the striker role his own, I dont see how he fits in. theyve got to keep tevez happy or he will leave, city have come to the point where theres too many good players and not enough positions = unhappy players, they will be successfull, money = success, but they will continue to turn over players as they wont be able to keep them all happy

For whom? It's certainly bad for the spectator right now. It's bad for the overall quality of the sport right now and in the future.

Also, MC is without question costing much, much more than it's bringing in. So calling it a bottomless money-pit is not laughable in the slightest. It's completely true and completely sad. These billionaires who treat their football teams as their personal dollhouse are ruining the sport.

i agree with entirely everything you have just said here. however, that is the nature of the sport now. it is all about money. until some kind of regulatory policies are enacted by fifa with regards transfers/wages, the sport will continue to be dominated by rich sugar-daddys.

I doubt fifa will do anything, because the same money craze that's killing football is pretty much the only thing keeping it alive, plus they're a bunch of shady old men who couldn't care less about the sport.
