1. What if a child animates himself into a similar fantastic, spectacular lay-up. Would you want he censor himself with a whistle ??? No, it's an amazing lay-up. Do you want kids to like parents and school? NO THEY LIKE BASKETBALL. Maybe the ref thought it would be a dunk. How could he know. LEAVE THE REFS ALONE

2. It's tough to count fast steps.

3. It was a nice assist by Rondo, too.

It wasn't called a travel because Augustin taking that extra step gave him no offensive advantage whatsoever. Solid no call really.

i think kobe gets called for a half a**'d travel call every other game 40 feet from the basket without any advantage "what so ever"

some reffs make a point to show they hate kobe

*** edit

anyone else notice while watching the slow motion replay that the reff slightly moves his head in the direction of the players behind him. then as hes taking the second step he turns back to him. maybe this is why it wasnt called....

The guy took four steps. Even if you don't count the one he was taking when he received the pass, it's still three additional steps.

Seeing as how you shit your pants over Ginobili's supposed travel, for several posts in another thread when he hit one of his game winners, I find your hypocrisy in this thread hilarious.

I guess no calls on travels are "solid" if you don't dislike the players involved?
