I also like how the only noticeable thing he has improved is his ability to get to the FT line. Everything else about his game is either the same as last year or worse. Offensive efficiency, defense, rebounding, and limiting turnovers. Bargnani is basically the exact same average player he was last year just with a higher usage rate and more shot attempts.
He needs to find something else to be good at other than scoring to make up for his off nights, which players do have. Same goes for Demar Derozan, but even he has average defense.
Actually. You're wrong and we're right. We predicted he could average his 20 ppg but on lower fg% and his fg% has indeed dipped over the past couple months even though he started off efficient.

Maintaining the same (or close) stats with a higher usage rate ain't easy. You can't act like he's not improved this year. I'm not saying it's huge, but you gotta give credit where credit it due....
..and no, he's not an all-star.
I understand that there is a clear bias on both sides here, and there probably always will be.
The numbers he is putting up are nice for a SG, not a C.
Disagree slightly. I'd prefer more assists out of my starting SG who is the focal point of the offense.
Basically Bargs' "improvement" this year is a big yawn for me given the context. Don't tell that to Devlin or beastani though...wait a minute I think I might be on to something...Devlin is that you?

Sure but I think you get my point. If someone just looked at Barg's line, they'd probably assume it's a 2 or a 3, not a 5.
Bargs not an all-star.. let alone a "Beast". His PPG has increased due to him jacking up more shots and getting to the line more often. He has barely improved if he did at all.
