Default Give me something to be excited about...

After watching 75-82 games for the past several years, i've now missed almost every game in January and the couple that I did see, I wasn't even mildly entertainined and ended up turning it off by halftime or early third quarter. Everything about this team just frustrates to think about and they just aren't exciting to me anymore. Can someone give me something to be excited about?

Well I don't know if it will make you feel any better but after being in the hunt for a playoff spot and sure middle of the pack finish, we're now inching closer and closer to a bottom five finish and a good draft pick!

The Dallas game was good. A couple others were okay. I just can't stand watching my team give up 60 points by the half every single game anymore though.

The future seems somewhat bright.

We likely have a top 8 pick this year hopefully its top 5 (we currently are at the 6th draft spot). Maybe take a player like Sullinger, Kanter, or Irving

Ed Davis is playing decent basketball lately, hes not a bad shot blocker and he can rebound pretty well once he bulks out he should be a pretty damn good player.

Demar Derozan keeps on improving. Hes only 22 so his game shoulld continue to grow and hopefully he'll develop into a decent slasher.

Barganni will be Barganni for another 4 years on this team

I agree with Davis and Bargnani being talented players and Derozan being a decent slasher (although limited all-around).
But I can't see why the future is bright. Any team has a couple of young talented players. Most teams have much more than that. And you have to be very lucky to get a future all-star from a 5-8 pick.

This season is being sad to watch. They have to play really well to have some options in the 4th quarter. Then the other them get serious and the Raptors lose by 15-30 points
They are playing good basketball, They just aren't talented enough.

its not that the team is loosing. its just that this team really doesn't have any players that we can see as possible future allstars even boderline stars. Bargnani is a great supporting cast/6th man and DD is still growing and we haven't really seen much of Ed Davis.

besides that we have no one and raptor games are just frustrating bcs our team fails to follow the fundamentals of simple basketball. Simple things they taught us in highschool is what this team fails at doing!

so the games are soooo boring and even if they win not exciting to see.

Yup, i'm not even excited when we win or if the game is close in the 4th. It's that bad.

The draft would be a good choice.

If thats not your style, then DD + young guys should keep you interested enough.

I don't watch the games, but I'm excited every time we lose one. As we keep this streak going, Kyrie Irving becomes more and more of a possibility, a franchise point guard can turn things quickly.

Well, now that the 3 point streak is over, literally the only thing left to look forward to is the possibility of getting a high draft pick. Right now we are tied with NJ for 13th in the east, and are the 5th worst team in the league in terms of record. So we have the potential for a top 3-5 pick. We definitely won't out-do Cleveland, Minnesota, or Sacramento though but we will have a fighting chance at having those lottery balls go our way.

Yeahh if we stay around the 4th pick.. we always have a chance at grabbing that #1 overall.

*prays*

The schedule gets a bit easier now, so I'm thinking we'll start picking up some W's.
