This has to be one of the most impressive 1st rounds I've seen in a while. Not sure why but seems like every other shot is a highlight.

How about the last group with the way Woodland finished and Quiros. How come Rory is getting all the talk and Quiros is getting no love?

Cause Rory is the up and coming superstar so they hype him out.

He deserves it, I think he'll be a multiple major winner and one of the best but yeah he gets a lot of coverage.

Tiger practices a lot. As much as if not more than anyone. He practices his short game shots so much that he goes through several wedges a year because he wears out the bounce on the bottom of the club.

I think he may have to reduce the number of balls he hits on the driving range as he gets older since your body doesnt recover as quickly. Hitting balls is very tiring to your hands a forearms. There is nothing you can do in a gym that simulates the stress on your forearms when hitting golf balls.

Rory is a far more accomplished player than Quiros. Until yesterday Quiros had never shot better than 75 in the Masters.

As a side note i followed Vegas one day last year at a nationwide event. I have never seen anyone hit the ball as high as he does. That is a big plus at Augusta.

That's 100% true but the guy was still tied for the lead after the first round. At least mention it once or twice.

Anthony Kim just whiffed on the 11th. Second whiff for the group in as many days.

Much as I'd like to see Tiger get that Major win and get his swagger back:

It's a hell of a lot of fun watching the future of the tour step up. It's gonna be in good hands, these guys are ridiculously good.

Rory is still rolling, BTW.

He's def shut me up. I knew he had the talent but I didn't feel he was ready to win on this type of stage.

But he certainly looks ready. If he has a good day on moving day and is in the last group, his legend could just continue to grow.

How about Fred Couples at -5? Pretty impressive for the old guy and I'm not just saying that because he's a Bobcats season ticket holder.

Mind boggling considering that it's Augusta National.

Look out now we've got some players sitting in a position that they could start to come on up.

Dustin Johnson at -3. Sergio Garcia at -3. Adam Scott sitting at -2 Ryo Ishikawa at -2. Tiger has a little bit of a groove going.....

Fellas this is gonna be a great weekend.

Lol. How the fuck did neither of those balls on 15 end up in the drink. That was crazy.
