Default nugs need a new head coach

Who should it be? Who will it be? This team is not worth blowing up for a season or 2 more for g karl. Its not even worth giving jr away for karl, but the team needs to be built around carmelo and karls ego is too big for that. And that was before he was the missing link- its time to move on to a coach who will put the talent on this team in the best spots to succeed. Nugs have too good of a team not to try to win now

No they don't.....in fact, I think he's one of the few coaches who handle the Nuggets players. Those guys have different personalities that are hard to deal with.....look at the Nuggets assistant coach, the guy had no control over his players whatsoever.

i think the head coach is fine... what we need is a top assistant... every good team has/had one (a lot them have become coaches)

examples:
Jackson: had Rambis
popovich, he had mike brown and a whole tree of coaches
Mike Brown: had keuster
rivers: has theabuadeu (i spelt that sooo wrong)
van gundy: ewing

we need an assistant coach that has one great aspect that can help Karl...

Grugich is probably our best assistant, but the thing is... he's more of a player development and practice coach not a game coach

Karl's health is a real issue. He could just say -'I'm done , no more juice"

He needs to get rid of A.D.

-----------
If Denver ever got another coach I think Franks or Johnson would be good fits , requiring better 'D" and set plays.

We need anyone capable of installing some sort of offensive system. I don't give a damn about Karl managing egos. JR is as good as gone this offseason, anyways.

all a basketball coach can really control is who plays with who and for how long. Karls job is to put the players in the best possible positions to succeed and he doesnt do it. He is unwilling to use his most talented players to the best of their ability. Just because you get good results out of roleplayers doesnt mean you should build around them. Its karls fault that he doesnt use JR smith correctly. The guy builds his career out of making scapegoats to keep the blame off of him. Last year would have went the same whether dantley or karl finised it, It was the team and the direction that Karl put in place. Karl must have been so thrilled when the idiots thought he was the missing link. Let him rack up meaningless wins and be the big ego somewhere else, this team is ready to win and needs Karl far away from it to play at its highest level.
............
ty lawson in at the end of the portland game was a joke, and forbes proves that an afflalo can be created- they all have ability and need the right opportunity- you dont put players where they dont belong or it messes up the whole order of the team.
............
Karl is dishonest about the talent on the team, he isnt going to change he wants jr and carmelo gone and a couple more no pressure years to rack up wins- all the nugs need is an honest coach who has desire to get the most out of the roster and the nugs are a contendor

they are mile high contenders with karl ... and if they replace him , they would need a guy that can run Billups.....
If karl ever retires , Bill lamibeer comes to mind .

It really looks like kroenkes are going to let karl destroy the team without ever even putting the best team on the floor- I don't understand how creating value out of role players is worth worth keeping Karl when he is unwilling to use carmelo or Jr Smith- Karl is too deeply in love with himself to put his ego aside and use the roster he has
........................
Talk of an extension for Karl is ridiculous, he wasted the best chances the franchise has ever had and is about to turn the nuggets into the biggest joke in the NBA- how can kroenke not see that Karl is cheating the fans of Denver
