Try watching a Sixers game and you’ll see why.
The guard rotation has to be in strong running for worst in the league.

Because hindsight is 20/20?

I love when people are experts AFTER the fact. Fultz was regarded to be the best pick in a loaded draft AND the best fit fit the Sixers both short and long term.

Tatum was at best 5-7 and wasn't as highly regarded as Fultz, Ball, Jackson, Fox, Smith Jr, or Isaac. NOBODY had Tatum over Josh Jackson.

Does that answer why?

We also have to realize that boston's younger guys are getting a TON more quality minutes because of Hayward's injury.

Fultz was rated over Tatum but Tatum was highly regarded. Ainge did pick him #3 after all.

Largely true but they both were with him in the starting line up on opening day. The question is what would have happened when Morris got healthy.

even stalker saw that dude was a bust... shit.. he looks anthony bennet level right now and Tatum looks like a straight up superstar. The gulf is so wide you have to wonder how bad the sixers FO really is at evaluating talent.

Kinda funny because everyone was bashing Boston for trading down and everyone praised Philly for trading up. Maybe Boston realized that Fultz was mentally weak during the workouts/interviews?

But I don't think anyone would have predicted he would change his shot.

What?

Almost every team had him as the number 1 pick.

They needed a point guard. There really wasn't anyway of knowing that Simmons could run the point guard spot so good and he might even be better off as a point forward in the future since he was no shot outside of like 5 feet. Fultz made sense at the time

Danny didnt...just goes to show you that vast majority of FOs in this league are completely incompetent.

Perhaps, but Fultz looked like a beast in college and even in summer league.

I don't know what happened or is going on, but this isn't the Cavs picking Anthony Bennett or something.

Fultz looked like he had all the skills to be an elite guard in the league for 10 plus years.

Ainge also drafted Kelly Olnyk over Giannis.

There is no exact science to the draft. It's a complete crapshoot.

Dudes been injured all season played 4 games..... Got to wait and see when he gets back if it was a bad move by Philly. I think he just needs to fix his shot and he will be ok. He might not fix it this season but I'm confident over the summer he will find his stroke again. I've watched people call Embiid a bust because he was injured than they called Simmons a bust because he was injured, look at them now both are 3rd in voting in the east for allstar game( Embiid for front court players 1rst for centers and Simmons 3rd for backcourt players)
