Is pretty amazing. You can go through heaps of galleries and zoom right into a number of paintings.

i'm suprised that you can see the parts of the canvas on the starry night. i always thought that it would have been slathered in paint.

I read about this this morning. Very nice but I hope it doesn't stop people from actually going to museums.

I doubt it will. Its a cool site but it still doesn't match seeing a painting in person.

That's cool. Museums become completely obsolete now, just like now Netflix made Blockbuster completely obsolete.
Anyone who has google on their homepage or goes to google regularly will notice this. But thanks for telling us repped.

nah, there is nothing like actually standing in the presence of a great work of art. although this is probably as close as you can get without using 3d technology.

True. I'm pretty sure standing in front of the Guernica must feel completely different than just seeing it on your screen.
