Sting said the reason he didn't go to WWE after wCw died was because of how WWE treated a lot of top names from wCw. Guys who were way over in wCw but were jobbed out or underused in WWE. He said he didn't like that and didn't want to see it happen with him. There is an initerview with Mike Tenay from way back on youtube.

I think the only way Sting would sign with Vince is if he got creative control or at least some say in the feuds and matches and storylines.

From what I read, it was still going to happen, but in 3-4 months time. MEM were supposed to be "they" (Which makes sense with the mentioned Crimson beatdowns) and between now and then they were going to slowly build up Fortune turning, rather then having it happen suddenly in 1 night.

That's a hand full out of how many great talents were in that invasion angle? DDP was a big star and you wouldn't have known it from the way he was booked in wwe. Even Booker T to an extent. He was a world champion but when he went to WWE he had to re-climb the ladder, and even then he only won the title once well past his mass appeal.

He was in that shape in TNA too. Kinda a hypocrite though. He said he didn't want to be in WWE because they wouldn't let him be his natural self, and he didn't want to dye his hair all the time (which is why he was grey in TNA)

DDP was booked horribly in the WWF/E. It was that stupid stalker storyline with Undertaker. They should have just let both of them go out there and wrestle in some classic brawls like DDP had with Savage.

DDP dissing and dodging the nWo was too sweet.

I remember people saying that WCW would only take talent away from the WWF and not create their own. What about Goldberg, Sting, DDP, Booker T and Rey Mysterio?

I hated him at the beginning because I was 12/13 years old and loved Hogan and the nWo over WCW.

The Flock, Kidman (singles), La Parka (yes big in Mexico but got bigger in wCw), the entire cruiserweight division, and even guys that went to WWE like Jericho and Benoit. While they became bigger in WWE they were still stars in wCw.
