I hated him at the beginning because I was 12/13 years old and loved Hogan and the nWo over WCW.

The Flock, Kidman (singles), La Parka (yes big in Mexico but got bigger in wCw), the entire cruiserweight division, and even guys that went to WWE like Jericho and Benoit. While they became bigger in WWE they were still stars in wCw.

I was black and white all the way.. but I liked a lot of other guys despite my bias. Just could not stand ddp. I don't know who said it but DDP should not be compared to stone cold, they had similar finishers. Thats about it. Hey was like an early Hulk Hogan eat your vitamins kind of guy. At least thats how I picture him.

I don't see the Stone Cold similarity. I thought he was pretty unique too. Definitely not the eat your vitamins type though . He kind of had this lone soldier type of role going.

Not to mention the dude had about a million variations of the cutter, was too sick.

DDP's one guy that I wanna see come back and do color commentary. He definitely has a voice for it and is energetic as hell.

WWE's actually got him hosting the new Best of Nitro DVD, so maybe he'll stick around in some way

Nah... Sting was totally WCW. Mysterio got his big push on a world wide company with WCW.

Rey got his first national exposure in WCW. He was never close to the level he is in the WWE though. In WCW he was a midcard guy at best, held the tag and Cruiserweight titles and who was occasionally up higher up in the card. Once they took his mask off in early '99 it kinda killed alot of his momentum and appeal.

You can list guys like Booker T or DDP, but the only true $ grabbing, PPV buying headlining guy they built was Goldberg.
