The Suns didn't even need Amare. All they needed was Kurt Thomas. Not even Kurt, just SOMEBODY who was strong and played inside.

Hell, someone like Danny Fortson would've been enough.

mavs deserve it, this is there year.

amare is coming back next season, and its hard to imagine he isnt at least 5 times better then TThomas. TThomas had several good games and hit some big 3s. . . but he cost them a lot of possesions and made a lot of dumb decisions.

we will see next year. they finished as the runner-up western champs, no one else in their division will challenge their division title (sac aint doin it trust me). add all dat wit

amare and kurt back. 2x 1st round picks.

looks good brothers

Haslem, Walker, Posey and Mourning will guard him at various times.

Should be interesting to see what he does.

TT was no where today. Guy was a joke.

Amare + Kurt + 2 lottery picks makes me very excited about next year. Everyone is young except Nash, everyone will improve.

Nash's game will be the same next year. His game isn't about a lot of physical ability. Chances are, with the full team, they won't play 14 games before getting into the WCF. Nash will have more time to rest and a better, deeper team.

Dallas vs. Phoenix rematch will be fun to watch next year.

This is a dumb question, because when Amare comes back, Diaw will be much less effective than he is right now, so it's really subtraction through addition

With a full team, Nash's job is easier. The guy put a hell of year when the team needed him the most.

Hopefully, we won't have the same issues next season.

We can't forget about the Spurs either. They'll be up there with Dallas and Phoenix.

We'll have to see chemistry wise, but Diaw doesn't have to score 15-20 a game if Amare is in the lineup to be effective. Not to mention the guy can play every position. I'm not to worried about it.

I wouldn't call him a joke because w/o Tim Thomas the Suns would've been gone fishing in the 1st round LOL.Everyone knows dude is up and down with his game.

Amares impact on the game is much greater than Diaws because he's an inside player. The Suns don't need Boris to really score alot because his best contribution to PHX is helping Nash find the open man/run the offense. With Amare in the lineup the Suns won't have to rely on 3pt shooting like they do now.

Diesel J, I don't doubt that the Suns would probably have gone home a lot sooner without him.

I really meant his personality is a joke. He really doesn't bring what I perceive what a "winner's mentality" is. He really disappears for long periods of time and talkes more shit then his game can back up.

I hope the Suns keep him as a guy off the bench. He is a good player for the money the Suns pay him and I think his attitude will effect the team less with Amare being the vocal leader he was last year.

TT won't be getting offered a lot of money from other teams, I promise.

Actually, I was thinking the exact opposite. Boris was driving and dishing like a mad manbut the recievers just weren't finishing well. Amare would have been the perfect target catching on the other side of Marion, who would have been an automatic 2. Boris and Amare will be a perfect combo next year..

The Suns are gonna be great next year. i just have to wonder what the heck they're gonna do with their salary cap issues. They might drop either Diaw or Marion, but I'd rather see both of them stay and goodbye to both Tim Thomas and Barbosa.

I agree Hateraid.

If you watched the Suns play this season, you would see that Boris helped Marion in ways that would've benefitted Amare even more. Boris is an amazing passer and is really good at finding people in the post.
