As soon as they said "Fans Vote for the Winner" you knew Blake had it in the bag. Ibaka not getting a 50 for the foul line dunk was a crime. McGee not winning it all was a shame. But eh, its all supposed to be fun and entertaining more than anything and this dunk contest was definitely that...all four guys brought some great stuff out.

Grats @ Jones too. He was lights out in that 2nd round. Miami fans should thank JJ for giving them their first win over Boston this season

Ibaka definitely should have made it to the final round, no question. Definitely a 50 on the first one.

Demar's dunk was amazing, but he's just not popular enough to be sponsored by Kia. Kia needed someone like Griffin to really put that car out there in the second round.

Playing for a Canadian team, and your name is not Vince Carter, might be a big factor.

Ibaka was great but he did bite Javale McGee cuz McGee practiced the mouth dunk before competition.

judging was way off still, that's why this contest felt like a dissapointment even though it was. thanks Nate and Dwight for being silly men.

How about we stop whining and give props to quite possibly one of the greatest dunk contests of all time. All 4 guys had classic dunks and SICK performances besides Blake's where Baron screwed the pass like 5 times and DeMar's first dunk where he missed like 10 times.

Ibaka and Derozen had the best dunks of the night. The judges completely ****ed Ibaka over on the first dunk.

Top 3 Dunks:

1. Ibaka's FT dunk
2. DeRozan's 2nd dunk
3. McGee's under the backboard dunk

I believe some of you underestimate just how impressive some of these dunks are. These fellas make it look easy but some of the dunks they pulled were really nice, although not too flashy.

Derozan and Ibaka did get hosed out there as they put on some of the more impressive dunks.

Derozan's second dunk was one of the, if not the nicest of the night, and Ibaka from the ACTUAL freethrow line was superb.

All in all, they put on a great show. I enjoyed it, and THATS what its about, although we all sit and debate. Some of you expect too too much.

My biggest gripe is with the judges, not the dunkers. It was entertaining. I just wish they got people at the scoring table that actually gave a f#ck and rated dunks on their actual worth and not based on amount of gimmicks/hype.

I just wanted to see more out of DeMar, because he was (to me) clearly the most impressive of the night. Ousting him after just two dunks was a travesty.

No. Could have been if the two best dunkers advanced to the final round, though.

Mcgee threw a ball off one backboard, dunked it into an adjacent hoop, while dunking another ball with his left hand into the first hoop. Fckin ridicaliss. I feel like that's gonna be one of those underrated dunks when people look back at this

I'll say though, I had this theory coming in about how horrible last year's contest was. With just four dunkers, if two or three of them have bad showings, it makes the whole contest seem horrible. On the other hand, from what we saw tonight, when all those dunkers are clicking for a moment, it looks pretty good.
Less dunks mean they have to let it all-out very early to have a chance. I would still love to see three dunks so they could at least make one safer dunk.

What do people find so amazing about Ibaka's FT line dunk? Yeah it's right behind the line, but it's unoriginal and unimpressive for 6'10 with a large wingspan. Get over yourself that didn't deserve a 50 at all.

His second dunk was far more impressive though. That one was original, creative and actually difficult. Something I didn't know he was capable of tbh.
