I think this will go down as one of the most underrated dunks ever, along with Green's cupcake one.

It looks simple but sometimes simple things with elegance and beauty is great. Ibaka's dunk and Green's cupcake are good examples of that.

Dunks like that make the contest so exciting but so aggravating when they become so underrated.

Agreed, a lot of dunks can't be fully appreciated until you see a replay from a different angle or a slow motion take.

Great contest, perhaps somewhat controversial but saw a great show on the court. I loved the second of DeRozan and third of Mcgee. Any of the four could have reached the final stage, and anyone could have won.

This.

Some dunks can't be congested without seeing it from a certain angle or in slow-mo. Many of them happen to quickly and might not be sold beforehand as other dunks.

I knew if Blake didn't do the best dunks of all time.. and won everyone would ***** about how it was rigged. I personally think McGee deserved to win.. but it was close enough between the 4 guys that it wasn't a clear as day rigging like everyone is saying. That behind the head 360 from 1-2 feet in front of the free throw line was way more impressive than either of Ibaka's dunks to me. Then you have his lob from outside the circle to an elbow dunk when Vince got a 50 for doing a running start one from 5 feet away??? I mean seriously. Let's just ****ing enjoy this classic.

The bad is Blake wasn't even allowed to do what he wanted to do. I'm 100 percent willing to bet Blake wanted to try the hood but was told he's not allowed to. He clearly can jump high enough.

Think anyone would give a shit if McGee, Ibaka or DeMar got injured? Sure the fans and Raptors would... but Blake is protected from doing things too risky because 1. He already missed a season with injury. 2. He's a franchise player 3. He's arguably the most marketable future talent for the NBA right now and is a future face of the league.
LOL What??? Stop making excuses, man.

If he was too good and too much of a superstar for it then he didn't have to participate in it.

I'm just glad Blake didn't injure himself. He gets a trophy for "most likely to end his career by trying something stupid."

Not excuses. I truly don't believe they would of even allowed Blake to jump the roof. Too risky. Just because he shouldn't jump the roof of a car doesn't mean he can't be in a dunk contest LOL.

Oh, and what's up with the fans voting for the winner? What's the point of judge scoring in the final round then?

Best dunk of the night to me... based on degree of difficulty and IMPROVING on the best dunker of all times 50 dunk. After this it's McGee's dunking on 2 rims at once.. and McGee's vicious reverse 1 hander..

I'm gonna remember the double dunk the most from that contest. Completely unique and he did it off the goddamn backboard

That along with DeRozan's dunk were just amazing to watch. Ibaka's dunk from the free throw line was Godly, but it wasn't as aesthetically pleasing as the others.
