After a court appearance this morning, Wesley Snipes, the Hollywood action star, is free on bail and will be allowed to return to Namibia to finish filming a motion picture and must return by Jan. 10 to face the charges against him.
Wearing his signature black sunglasses, a black 2-piece suit and a blue shirt, Snipes walked through the back entrance of the courthouse at 9:30 a.m., escorted by federal agents and a prosecutor.
"I look forward to clearing my name and resolving this issue post haste," Snipes said after the hearing, wearing blue tinted glasses and a suit. He did not comment further on the case.
Ten bucks says that this ends in a settlement, with Wesley paying a couple of mill for the prosecutors to get off his back.
