I agree. They're two deep at every position with a lot of upside.

Well they didn't' mortgage their future. If you don't think Felton, Gallo, and Flton can't be replaced, you are greatly mistaken. Now the Knicks have a future. But... they probably could have gotten Melo anyway. I think it was a risk that I would have taken.

Melo made the playoffs every year of his career and lead Syracuse to a title as a frosh...

Amare came in and as a rookie made the playoffs and constantly help lead team to deep playoff performances...

they're not "losers". i respect both. a lot.

they're just more "AI" than they are "KB24" (IMO).

Am I the only person who thinks that a Melo-STAT core will never even sniff a NBA title?

Especially playing in D'Antoni's system. It'll be fun to watch in the regular season though, and now that I think about it I won't mind seeing the Knicks fans rage every year when that team flames out in the playoffs.
