How long will it take for David Luiz to be the best defender in the world?
I give it one more season max before David Luiz is considered universally the best central defender in the world.
I mean who is ahead of him, I dont see alot of players on his level. JT, Pique the handballer, Neven Subotic, a few others...
But holy christ, has there ever been a central defender with so much technique and composure on the ball? He can honestly play anywhere on the field with his skillset.
Hard fouls, mentally tough, big game player, composed on the ball, fast as hell, strong like a bull
WHAT IS NOT TO LIKE ABOUT THIS KID
Luiz youthful swagger and street hunger next to JT's calm composed experience and determination and leadership-dare I call this the best central defense partnership in the world? That I do dare, someone name me a better one-I dont think it's possible.

this DEFENDER had the timing to volley it out of the air BEFORE his defender cut off the angle AND he put back spin on it AND still got it inside the post where the keeper couldn't have a chance. incredible goal regardless of distance. are you kidding me? immensely talented kid with a great future.
