Better off without Melo. He just gets in Amare's way. Billups was the best player in the trade. Hope he's ready to go for the next game.
Billups most likely won't be ready for Cleveland Friday.
And Billups was not the best player in the trade, Melo was. There is no arguing that at all. You could argue that Melo gets in Amar'e's way, which makes Billups equally valuable, but not that.

They'll work out the kinks in time.
Melo is overrated. Plain and simple. He makes nobody better. He's a great scorer. That's about it. He's more like a 6'8 Zach Randolph. Can't pass, doesn't play defense. We were better off with Wil the Thrill.

Jared Jeffries got a pretty warm reception the first time he touched the ball. Part of it was probably because he got his first touch on an offensive rebound.
Still mind-boggling how NY pretty much threw away their future for a non-impact stat padder. And it's hilarious that people think CP3 would take a huge paycut to play in NY. Melo + Amare = 40 million in 2012.
