Default Eddy Curry Contract

Eddy Curry has an 11.27mil player option for the 2010/2011. Is there a chance he opts out so we can lure in a big name and resigns for a more realistic amount of money? I doubt it but its something to keep in mind we could save 10mil if he opts out and resigns for a vets minimum

The only way Curry opts out of his contract is him having a career year and be in line for a pay raise, why in the hel would he opt out and sign back with us for the veterans mid level, please guys at least read and ask your self your own questions before yo post dam!

It's not COMPLETELY off the wall question. Though I haven't heard any basketball player do it ever...in baseball a few guys have taken pay cuts (Chipper Jones has done it 2 or 3 times actually) for the better of the team. But their contract situation is different than NBA and I just don't see an NBA player doing that.

a player opting out of a 11mill deal to sign a 1 mill deal? yeah, pretty off the wall

I did say I don't see an NBA player ever doing it, especially not Curry. But it's not like something like it has NEVER happened before. Just not in the NBA, and yea I don't see it ever happening in the NBA. WAAAY too much of an individual game at this point.

even if this was conceivably realistic, players who committ this rarity are normally selfless.we cant even get curry to get himself in shape.no way he gives up money.that's food money !!!

Lol it's a bit I think bro. And um I don't ever want to see Curry and Knicks together in a sentence ever again. That will be the death of me.

I heard that Eddy Curry may be signing with the Heat....lol!!!!!! The saddest parts is that its seems to be true, lol. If he does, all I can say is good luck Miami.
