Kind of weird but I guess we are going to have 7 new wonders of the world, i guess they replace the old ones or wtf? This is a neat idea but its kind of like saying " We are rewriting the Bible" oh yes and we get to vote for them lol.

On September 5, 2006, in Athens during the launch of the New7Wonders World Tour, the location of the Official Declaration of the New 7 Wonders of the World was announced: Lisbon, Portugal.
The New 7 Wonders of the World will be announced during the Official Declaration ceremony in Lisbon, Portugal on Saturday, July 7, 2007 - 07.07.07.
The Portuguese event agency Realizar Impact Marketing, known for its innovative, international multimedia, will create and produce the event on July 7, 2007, which will be broadcast around the world.
