Man, was I wrong about this game. I guess Indy is nothing but a pretender after all. Turns out the "idiot kicker" was right.

Amazing how 1 games changes people. Ridiculous as hell. How was the idiot kicker right and how are the Colts at 10-3 a pretender????????????

You sit there and list the "contenders" now. Go.

No, the Browns are the worst. Need a complete list of thier draft picks going back to 99?

Giants beat the panthers 27-17.

Chris Weinke Through the ball over like 50 times, Run was getting stopped.

He threw for ever 400 yards but only threw 1 TD and 3 INT.

It's safe to say with a schedule like they have coming up and a record of 6-7 panthers are done.

Giants vs Iggles Next Week.

Giants Will Win.

good. i was sick of hearing about the Panthers and how great they are. they will turn it around b/c they are so good blah blah blah.

ive seen good chucks of nearly every Panthers game and they just are not that good. i think they need a more reliable running game and a better WR to line up next to Smith.

Give me a break. You know its not the record that counts but how the team is playing. Of course they'll have a good record heading into the playoffs, but how far do you think they're going with that defense?

Yeah running game is a joke. OL needs to be fixed because its not that good. Jake has struggled. I dont have a problem with Key tho. Why do you? Smith got off with a lesser WR opposite him and Carolina won.

Defense they took a step back. Cant believe the Eagles got a better record but I'll take it.

Jason Taylor for DPOY? Wouldnt count against it at all. Better year than Peppers.

Maybe not "pretenders", but they aren't winning anything if they continue to play defense like they did today.

They're the 32nd ranked run D for a reason. With teams like SD, NE, Cinci all being good running teams, the Colts are in trouble. LDT mighta had 300 by himself the way the Colts D was bending over today.

I hope that New Orleans beats the cowboys today so bad, giants can still win the division if dallas loses.

Eagles are going to fall apart after they lose to the giants next week..

Peppers had 2 tackles.....

It's not that shocking... I thought it'd be a little closer though.

I'm not liking the Colts' chances this year. In years past they had overwhelming talent on offense. Now they've lost some pieces, but they're still efficient. But their run defense is TERRIBLE. Almost 400 yards rushing? Unlike in years past to the Super Bowl run, they're not flat out dominanting teams. I can recall a couple of early seasons games that they eeked out the win. And teams have their number. And if that isn't the case then they're running them into the ground. You can't call them pretenders, not long as 18 is behind center, but the Super Bowl's not theirs to lose. Peyton's gonna spend a couple of sleepless nights in the upcoming weeks.

The defense is up in the air right NOW. Of course peple such as yourself will flip flop. You didnt think of them as pretenders before...but you do now. Obvously things happened for you to change your mind. Which is my point. Give you a break? I asked you for the contenders and you didnt supply them. I wonder why. Screw it I'll get to my reasoning behind asking. I asked because i too can sit here and nitpick the contenders in the AFC and show you how they could be considered pretenders as well.

As far as I'm concerned? There is no SB lock in the AFC. There are a couple of teams that will fight for that spot. SD is playing better than anyone right now but thier defense is dominating. Getting Castillo and Merriman back is good. Gives them a solid D, but nothing where it cant be exploited. A young and unproven QB and a HC with a history when it comes to the playoffs and how he gameplans.

No AFC contender looks like locks. That Colts run D is a problem but to call them pretenders is ridiculous on your part.
