Ric Jackson is undersized.I think he'll slip to the 2nd.He's terrible from the foul line and he gets into foul trouble a lot.He can play though.Nice 2nd round pick up if we got him.
How about Kemba Walker!!!! UCONN BABY!!!

I think Kemba Walker can fall to us, meaning we should address our big man problem this off-season. I like Chandler and Gasol as options. Gasol will probably come cheaper, however Chandler will be more explosive and fit in well with our other guys.

The only thing with Chandler is that you can attack him easily and put him in foul trouble.
If we were to acquire him, we would definitely need another big as well.
Jimmer will be the College Basketball Player of the Year. Kemba does have the skills to pay the bills though....remonds me alot of Ben Gordon when he was at UConn.
I think Jimmer will be like Reddick.Good in college, mediocre or decent in the pros.No doubt he'll win the POY.He's had a huge year.Im more impressed by Kemba though because while both guys dominate the competition,Kemba does is in what is BY FAR the best conference in America.Jimmer's best competition is when he plays teams like New Mexico and San Diego St.When you play in the Big East, you pretty much play a ranked team every night. If it came down to it and both were on the board still when it's our turn to pick,I have no doubt in my mind we'd take Jimmer over Kemba.Jimmer shoots the 3 ball better.
Only problem is he doesn't pass nearly as well as those two.
Watch out for a guy name Keith Benson. He plays for Oakland. It's a small school that plays for the Summit Conference but he's good and getting lots of looks from NBA scouts. He's 6'11",athletic and blocks shots. He also has a decent jumper. He's kinda thin but that can be worked on.Check the link

He's bigger than Randolph. He's thin but not frail bodied. He plays more like a big man than a SF.He's 2nd in the country in block shots (3 1/2 per game!).
Right organization but wrong coach for me. I want Don Newman.
When it comes to free agents we need to keep in mind that there may be a new CBA in place; so there is no telling what financially the team will have to work with yet.
Another thing is without a new coach getting a true defensive center is pointless because Coach Pringles won't play him. With what Coach looks for in his center spot, that job offensively is Amar'e Stoudemire's. So they'd have to find a guy that could be the offensive "big forward" while defending the opposing center. There are only a handful of those guys in the league; none of them are going to be on the market.
When this happens then I will be able to look ahead, now we are at point where we can't improve.
Losses like this will happen while D'Antoni is our coach.
It doesn't mind who we have on the team offensively.
This is not our problem.
Melo didn't solve any of our problems.
He is a great player but even before we were losing because of our pathetic defense and that will continue to happen no matter who we bring unless that guy is Dwight Howard.
Of course Dalembert would make impact but even with him we would still play careless defense and one guy can only do so much.
OUR FUTURE BEGINS WHEN D'ANTONI LEAVES.
Until then,we are at point where there is no improvement.
