Also, immediately after these 4 streaks followed another 83-game streak that ended in the 1969 season. So, he had 719 double-doubles in his first 723 games and all but one of his non-double doubles came due to him being injured early or ejected.
Noy only that, but just taking a look at his 61-62 season, in which he had a double-double every game...it wasn't even close. His lowest rebounding game was "only" 15, and his lowest scoring game was "only" 26 points. And, he only had ten games, out of 80, in which he did not get at least 20 rebounds. And, along with that 26 point game, he only had one other game (28) in which he failed to score at least 30 points.
And how about this? Chamberlain had three streaks of 10 games with at least a 20-20 game, and one other streak of 18
games of at least a 20-20. And, given the fact that he had those ten games of less than 20 rebounds, that means he had 70
20-20 games in that '62 season!
