Default The fix is in tonight. Vegas knows the Heat will win.

Lakers have won how many in a row?
Heat have lost how many in a row?

Yet, the Lakers are only a 1 point favorite in Vegas?

75% of the money is on the Lakers. Vegas would take a POUNDING if the Lakers win.

So, quick, hurry, sell the farm. Heat win running away tonight.

(for the record, I have no horse in this match. Just very alert of what's going on with this game. Hammer me if I'm wrong, but I won't be, cause Vegas won't be.)

They lost on the Superbowl. This wouldn't be even close to as big as that. Your money is as safe as it would regularly be, my friend.

Even if the Heat win by 50. It's not a good idea to go on a message board telling people stuff like this. There could be a naive person out there who can lose a lot of money on this.

Be smart. And be real.

Doesnt make sense.

"Heat win running away with it"

Hammer me if I'm wrong, but I won't be, cause Vegas won't be.

If I bet, I would put all my chips on LA.

The Heat ripped them a new one in their one and only meeting of the season so far, so maybe that has a factor in the odds? Coupled with the fact that like you said, the Lakers are rolling and the Heat aren't, that might be why they are calling it a coin toss? Just maybe? No, couldn't be it... It must be inside information. *Places 10 grand on Heat* Thanks for the tip bruh.

OP do you realize that vegas moves the odds to protect their interests? they offset possible losses by setting the line in such a way that it's nearly win win for them, the line doesn't always reflect the true favorites or the numbers they are favored to win by... they don't pay for all those light bulbs out of their own pockets...

Brother in derp,

The line is set to create money. The casual NBA observer has seen all week on ESPN that the Heat are in shambles, and the Lakers are hooping. They bait the line at only 1 point favorite, so people rush to put money on the Lakers, as 75% of the bets have been.

Total trap bet.

I hope none of you seriously risk your money because of some random thread on ISH, but just be conscious of what Vegas is doing with this game. I imagine a lot of people will be whining about the officiating after this one.

I understand that Vegas sets the line to attract equal betting, that way it's a "no lose situation" for Sin City.

However tonight, with 75% of the public on the Lakes, and the line not moving... I just see the fix.

Could be wrong, but I doubt it. I really don't care who wins. Go Thunder!
