Agree.....every one knows that MJ is Corporate Americas' Greatest Athlete. ESPN named Jordan Best Athlete of the 20th Century because his highlights created more ratings for them.

Will Smith >>>> Muhammad Ali

He played him pretty good. Plus he's funnier, raps and is Hitch.

Jordan just may be the best ever, however, my and most people's favorite was Ali. I just wish I was alive to see the hype for his fights live. Boxing just sucks right now. The promotion of fighters just flat out sucks, the promotion of fights just sucks

Ali and Michael did as much for their respective sports.

Ali chose to venture into things out of his sport such as philosophy, religion, war, peace, enlightenment, and the truth. Much respect.

MJ chose to stick to his own craft and keep away from these types of issues. Much respect.

They both did it incredibly well.

MJ = ALI

Career wise Jordan did better in his profession no matter how inspired you feel about Ali.

MJ was nothing more than a corporate schill. He was a great bball player but his whoring of products leaves a sour taste in the mouth. I love that story about how he forgot what that one product was that he was filming a commercial for.

Ali on the other hand became a cultural and political icon due to his actions and speeches.

Ever see MJ doing the things Ali did? Nope, cause as he says "It would interfere with my corporate sponsorships"

MJ would do a commercial for the KKK's cause of ridding the world of african americans if they paid him enough.

Being a good basketball player doesn't change the fact that MJ is an awful human being.

MJ was born in a different time, plain and simple. He didn't have to go through a lot of things Muhammad did, such as the draft and the blatent racism of the time. Jordan was able to get an education and a scholarship. Ali as an athlete, was good, but not the best of all time. Ali was like the batman of the sports world. He was given the gift of being very intelligent and charismatic. One major sign of that was the way his speeches were all so cleverly spoken and thought out even though he couldn't read or write.
So, Ali= the greatest entertainer/thinker of our time, but MJ= the greatest ever basketball player, and most dominant sportsman.
