The town was a great movie, also. I've noticed this "Saving Private Ryan" movie have been coming up, not just on this forum site. People seem to enjoy it. It came out 1998 and is rated a 8.5 on http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0120815/

I might check this out.

Nice, did you get the Town extended cut? It adds 20 more minutes.

I did. Going to watch it tonight.

I picked up Pan's Labyrinth today as well. One of the highest rated films on Metacritic. Will write a review once I've watched it.

Watched Cool Hand Luke on Friday and attempted to watch Blade Runner today. Blade Runner has some of the best quality visuals I've ever seen.

Who is "buying all over blu-dvds again again"???

Its all preference... if you don't care about the difference in true 1080p video and 5.1 stereo, then Blu-Ray isn't for you.

As for "gotta be smart about your budget".... $20-$30 here and there for nice things isn't a budget breaker.

Did I say anything about replacing DVD's I already own in Blu-Ray format?? Absolutely not.

Is an extra $15 per movie for elite quality really that big deal to some of us?? Nope.

Keep pinchin' pennies, son.
