He's MJ Lite. Which is to say, no he's not as good.

I'm not talking to no record book, sorry. I'm talking to humans only. Occasionally to cats. But books -- nope.

Well, I think Kobe may surpass MJ in possibly winning championships. He may even pass him in scoring of all time. I don't think Kobe will surpass MJ in level of play, but he could possibly surpass him in longitude since Kobe is playing longer than him.

In terms of accomplishments, I don't think Kobe will be able do it. It is extremely doubtful.

I have a question. (Consider it an IQ-test.)

If Kobe is MJ-Lite, then MJ is Kobe-what?

A) heavy
B) light
C) lighter
D) hard
E) none of the above

Wilt played in an era that had no competition. He would be as good as Dwight Howard today. At most.

I would argue that Wilt faced FAR more HOF centers than Howard has, or ever will, face. One can only wonder how much more Chamberlain would have pounded the inept centers of the current NBA.

That's only because he didn't post enough.
The shorter a post the easier to agree with it.
If you want to be universally liked, don't post more than a few words at a time.
Taking it to the extreme, you can quit posting altogether.

With rings and points and all of that, Kobe might be somewhat as successful as MJ. But he has never been nor ever will be as dominant. MJ was basketball. Not sure that's ever really been said about Kobe. Not legitimately anyway.

I have never cared what other's here thought of me. This is not a popularity forum.

Sorry, but people over 60 should not give their opinion in a discussion taking place on the Internet. Or, if they do, it shouldn't be taken seriously. The Internet is for YOUNG people. Roger?
