I guess at this point nobody really knows because it doesn't seem like there would be a definite player. It probably will depend on a teams needs. Any ideas?

Maybe Durant from Texas, reminds me of a Rashard Lewis type of player...tall, long player, good shot, good d, not really a post-up player despite his height...but very athletic and high upside.

That's my pick.
Kevin Durant is the next big thing fro mwhat I've seen. Amazing young player.
Maybe on Oden....although I tend to think, from what I've seen, he's maybe more of the Ewing type. I know that might be a tall order to fill, but so is Robinson. Plenty of highly regarded prospects have been compared to HOFers, I guess that's the best way to do it, maybe I'm wrong. If anyone can give me an either statistical comparison between the 3, or an intangible and otherwise unstatistical comparison, please do so.
As far as Durant. He's really nothing like Duncan. Most comparisons have him likened to TMac. I think that if he worked on his inside game a little...and with age add some muscle, he COULD, not that he will, move from a TMac to a KG type. 6'10" 220lb (soaking wet wearing an overcoat), where does he fit? SF/PF?.....a tall, really tall 2?. Does he have the ability to develop that shot 15'-22'?
I'll admit that I don't, and really don't have the ability to see all of their games, but I have tried to stay on top despite my schedule. Any info to my misconstructions would be greatly appreciated. Obviously since this is a message board, my bad.

I have heard a lot of Oden=Ewing comparisons but id say Durant will be more like TMAc than Duncan. Durant does play in the post at this point in his career.
I would say the three names mentioned so far are the three best choices. Durrant would be my personal #2 player, but if you are a team like the Sixers with Iggy, Korver, Carney, and Green, and an old PF like Webber, I would go with Wright or Noah.
I think a guy with an outside shot could be Tiago Splitter. He is a lot different than Bargnani, but with Bargnani's success, a team may be more willing to take a foriegn guy, and Splitter is more NBA ready than Wright and Noah.
Jianlian is also some who I wouldn't count out, but there will be too many questions about him I think. When there are questions about something as simple as your age, teams are going to be a little timid.
I've heard alot of concerns about Durrants motivation. He is so naturally talented, and has always been so dominate, how he will respond to being challenged and forced to work?
