Default Run The Offense Through Greg Monroe

Next year I think the Pistons would really benefit by running the offense through Greg. He makes good decision with the ball in his hands. He was putting up 20/10 games with not that many plays ran for him towards the end of the season.

Honestly at this point, he is our franchise player. Not to say that wont change but the dude is money. We need to find a true PG to compliment him.

We've got a PG (as long as they bring Stuckey back). I'm not sure that you run the offense through Monroe. I think the offense should be more fluid and have the ability to run through multiple players. I do think more plays should be ran to get Monroe to score. I do agree he is probably our franchise player at this point. I just don't see putting everything on his shoulders. What we need is another good/lucky draft where we can find another go to guy. Plus I think having Jerebko healthy will help. They've said he's part of the core. He also did really well with no plays ran for him.

i guess run the offense are strong words. id like to see us go to him as one of our main options tho. the guy can score in the paint and set up teamates cutting to the basket. this thread was inspired by what the grizzlies are doing.

Ah, makes sense. Lets just say I hope he sees about 12-14 shots per game and gives us 17-9-1-1 and a few assists.
