They wouldn't be popular in LA. Everyone is either a Laker or Clipper fan already.

I agree with most. Put the team in San Diego, Seattle or Vancouver. I think Las Vegas would be bad for the league in the long run.

Seattle deserves another team considering how f***'d the situation was with the Sonics/Thunder. And I know I've seen rumblings about David Stern really wanting to have a team in Vancouver again.

San Diego just seems like a logical fit.

Although this debate is all for nothing. The team is going to Anaheim and will be the LA or Anaheim Royals.

According to the article, it seems like the people at the Honda Center want the team named after the city they reside...Anaheim

How is San Diego a logical fit? I've always wanted to see the Clippers back in San Diego, but what arena do they have there in SD that is NBA fit/ready? I'd rather see the Kings in Las Vegas or St. Louis/Kansas City.

Regardless, I like the Royals name change, Anaheim is far different from LA.

Las Vegas Nobody lives there. It is in the middle of the desert. They would have tourists at their games at all times, but no real fans.
San Francisco Has a team. The Warriors.
St Louis Don't know much about the city, don't think it's a basketball city.
San Jose Don't think they'd be a basketball city.
Somewhere in New Mexico Hahaha, no.
San Diego Had the Clippers. They seem to always struggle getting their teams nice stadiums.
Louisville Not a basketball city.

Pros and cons with the cities I just mentioned?

See above.

If they're moving to Anaheim, they should be the Anaheim Royals, not the LA Royals. That's just stupid.

Or they should go somewhere that wants/deserves a team aka Seattle.

Anaheim seems like a good place. There's a lot of people in the area and over time they should develop a nice fan base. Of course the tickets wouldn't be as high as the LAkers so you would get a chance to see the Heat, Celtics, Lakers etc... for a lot cheaper. Over time it will work out.

Most of those cities are very small or not particularly desirable locations. Vegas is too much of a gambling city for any sports team, although I bet players would love to live there.

Pity Sactown can not agree on an arena to keep the team.
Sacramento will now just be the middle of now where again. Nothing special what so ever.

Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim. Maybe they can follow suit. The Los Angeles Royals of Anaheim?

Honestly, I don't like either one...

I lol at any team calling itself LA and playing their games in Anaheim

Pittsburgh (Steelers country first, they could take over the Penguins for #2 though. And another way to continue their hatred towards Cleveland and Philly)

Las Vegas (Don't like the idea of pro teams in the gambling mecca of the country)

San Francisco (Warriors)
St Louis (don't know)
San Jose (see San Fran)
Somewhere in New Mexico (no)
San Diego (don't know)
Louisville (Louisville or Lexington could work.)
