He is at most a bench spark in the league. He's crafty but no way he can keep up with some of the athletic freaks on defense. Maybe on a run and gun team he could flourish because he has so much range and knows how to get his shot but defense will kill him. I don't see him being much more than a slightly better ball handling Redick. I do like him a ton though. I actually made a point to go to a BYU game when I was traveling for work just to see the kid.

Jimmer Fredette could be JR Redick, but could also be Stephon Curry.
Probably somewhere in between.
He is a serious player.

Lebron shoots effortlessly from long range, but not as accurately as guys like Mike Miller, Freddette, Redick, etc can.

If you let JR play with that little baby line and vs. those bum college kids at 18 it would be over.

JR is a better shooter than Jimmer flat out...factor in anything you want, it is the truth. When he gets to the NBA it will be obvious.

Jimmer definitely has enough ability to contribute, but hold up on calling him a starter on any team in the league. Things will be a lot different for him when he has to face an NBA defense
