Default Dwyane Wade vs Dwight Howard

Better player this year
Better player overall

It seems like everyone has Dwight ranked higher but at the end of last year and in the off season people had Wade higher actually everyone would laugh at anyone who had Dwight higher. I don't get whats changed maybe everyones hurt by the idea that the top 2 players in the NBA are playing on the same team.

Dwight because he is not a sidekick. Don't care if Wade is a better individual player or whatever, he doesn't have the responsibility and role that Dwight has.

Dwight been a little bit better this year but Wades a better individual player and it's not even close. After playing with Lebron for a year Wade should go back to his old self next year.

Dominant center > Dominant guard. Wade is the better "player" though, but thats irrelevant...

You're starting an expansion team.

Who do you take as a young player to be the face of your franchise for the next 10+ years..

Michael Jordan? or Hakeem Olajuwon?

I never bought the whole always choose the big man over the guard, like you take the better player unless the players are equal and Wade is the much better player.

Better player this year- Wade
Better overall- Wade

Wade's just a better all around playmaker and a great defender. It's not that hard to contain Dwight just put him on the line, and use penetrations to draw fouls. I mean even if Dwight was the better player, what difference does it make when he isnt even on the court due to foul trouble?

In before someone accuses me of homerism due to my avy.

Jordan did fine with Cartwright as his center. Cartwright was not a world beater and nothing special when he was there. The only year he made it as an all star was 1980.

When the bulls were winning championships he was a 8/5 guy at center. Early he was a 9/4 guy and most others 6/5 when they were winning the titles

The Bulls just had the best wing combo ever. The Heat have the best wing combo since and don't need a dominating center. Just a decent one who won't look foolish down there and does the simple things well. With a little defense.

I can play the same game - Kobe or Shaq? Again its obvious that Wade is the better player, I actually think that Orlando will become stronger if you swap Howard and Wade. But if this happens Miami is the clear cut favourite for championship this year.
