KB2clutch is starting to rub some people the wrong way
Default Forget big men, nba gm's should build around three point shooters

think about it a three point shooter shooting 33% scores as efficiently as a 50% shooter on 2 point shots. Now say your whole team is filled with the best three point shooters in the league from top to bottom and you shoot at the league average fg% of around 45% with three pointers than lets say your team shoots 80 shots a game, thats already 108 points, than count fast break points and free throws and theres no way any team can beat you. An nba team should just build around three point shooters and have them shoot threes all game

Except by driving inside the paint and getting all their points at the rim.

If you're team was made up of all three point shooters you wouldn't have to double anyone. It could completely bad man-to-man without help and you could easily close in on the shooter. Oh, and you would get out-rebounded like whoa.

If you shoot 3s all game you'll get below 33% for them, they are oportunity shots. There is no way with all defenders guarding the perimeter well u get above 20% with 3's. There is a reason teams shoot about 1/5 3s and 4/5 2s on average.

hmm..... I seem to remember a few coaches like Don Nelson, Stan Van Gundy, Mike Dantoni and others trying this....

I can't quite recall how it ended for them though.

Can somebody help me on that?

The Magic have a lot of 3 point shooters around Dwight. It isn't the magical instant winning formula you seem to think it is.

i think this thread was made to show people that scoring efficiency is another BS stat that really can't quantify who the better scorer is.

Please tell me i win a prize for being right

the 3 point shooting in 2k11 is ridiculous, but if you play on Simulation sliders then you can't make 3s period
