I'm sure he gave his thoughts for it. That doesn't mean he "wrote" it.
Kobe is perhaps one of the most educated NBA players, you can tell from all the press conferences and his speeches. It wouldn't surprise me if there was little, if at all, 3rd person editing on his letter.

That's called an interview u retard. If they wanted Kobe's thoughts they would just interview him & not give him a cover stating that he wrote the article.

You base your opinion on Kobe being educated on his interviews?

He is able to construct coherent and knowledgeable statements on every interview/press conf/ speech text, etc, etc, etc I've seen (as opossed to the majority of his peers)... So yes, it's an indicator he is educated enough to make a perfectly written letter as the one in question here.

I think he had scored pretty good on his SAT's and would have made it to Duke even without a bball scholarship, said he can speak 6 languages (a few fluently), very articulate in his interviews. Even if I didn't know these things, based on his interviews I would consider him a bright person.

That's simply not true, but we got some insight into your level of intelligence
He certainly comes off as an intelligent person from what I've seen though
