Default How can someone actually like/watch baseball?

The sport sucks and is the most boring sport to watch. Please, if you like baseball, tell me what is so exciting about it? Does it make you that excited when someone hits a ball over a wall? Which only happens maybe 1-3 times a game.

I can proudly say that I have never seen neither a baseball nor American football game in my life.

Test match cricket is way more interesting than that glorified version of rounders.

Baseball is by far the worst sport created. Unfortunately for us, the season is about to start. We are about to enter the worst sport stretch known to man kind. Of all the leagues to have a possible lockout, why can't it be baseball? There is no Olympics, basketball, hockey, Tennis, World Cup nor English Premier League soccer this summer.

maybe if they play baseball and know something about it, as opposed to not playing and knowing nothing about it, like you. that's just a hunch.

I don't follow baseball at all but it's entertaining when you go to the game like most sports. On television though, it's a different story. The announcers bring little to no excitement to the game, just statistics.

It sucks on TV but quite good in person. It's also one of those sports where the minor leagues can be as entertaining as the major's.

I've only been to one MLB game, which was between the Mariners and Yankees in Yankee stadium but I've been to numerous minor league games. Have always enjoyed them.

Oh, and the M's won that game by the way.

Used to be live on normal TV (BBC then channel 4 years later). It was great for watching the ashes until sky sports took over it and ruined everything.

It depends on how your environment has taught you. I could say soccer is the most boring sport if I didn't watch it regularly, or otherwise to baseball, American football, cricket etc.

I used to think baseball is very boring, until I learned how the game works and some star players.
