Rua cant fight because he's not medically cleared to even train fool. He was just in a war with Vera, Machida would have been the logical choice but when Machida stepped up to the plate last time against Jones he got submitted the f@ck out, he wants a full camp. Whats weird is why the heck they choose Vitor and not Sonnen?

he was winning round one, got blasted with a elbow I believe in Round 2 got staggered and submitted standing up which is rare because its hard to pull from that angle. Wether we like it or not Jones annihilated Bader,Shogun,Machida and Rashard.
Another thing I find weird is why didnt they just offer to Gustafson? Why get someone from MW?

I can't blame Machida and Shogun for not accepting.
Both have already lost to Jones once and, to me, it's a surprise that they're back in the conversation for a title shot so quickly. They both fought recently and Shogun didn't exactly come out unscathed from the Vera fight. In all likelyhood, this would be their last shot at the LHW title and to go into that against a monster like Jones on relatively short notice? I know I'd want to be as prepared as possible. I don't think it's fair to penalize them.
The whole Jones/Sonnen thing, I don't know what to think of all that. Who knows what's really true in all those talks?
yup Sonnen got Mad overrated when he lasted 5 rounds with AS and gave him the fight of his life, people tend to forget the dude lost 3 times to Jeremy Horn and lost to Maia all via Triangle, he also lost to Griffin and the other Brazilian dude who was actually on drugs and mentally unstable at the time.
But I have to admit Sonnen did improve, his win over Bisping and Stann were nice, but basically Sonnen is a good fight hyper. Very good wrestling average at everything else.

I dont have any problem whatsoever with them waiting for the fight to make sense for them. That's what they should do but it's also what jones did and he's getting hammered for it. You can't hammer him without hammering them too.
