and @ FEDOR..... WTF is going on with him......... he is either having the biggest series of BAD LUCK in his life or he had only SUPER LUCK his entire career (being unbeaten)..... or he simply has just lost his focus... hunger....
cant be the age.... he is not THAT old... its not like he ever used his athleticism to beat people anyways.... only his skill....
i noticed ONE THING though............ FEDOR HAS LOST HIS "GOD MODE".......... before he was never been able to be submitted... or knocked out (or rocked)........ with that i mean people were hitting him flush on chin over and over and NOTHING......... and people were putting him in Armbars, Sidechokes, TriangleChokes and he just COULD NEVER TAPOUT-SUBMIT......
right now it seems as soon as you touch his face.... he goes down.......... and as soon as you land a Submission he cant escape... so he taps out...
I don't agree with all of his points regarding Fedor. Hendo has a recent loss to Jake Shields, who lost to GSP. And, I don't agree with his thinking that MMA is turning into wild brawls. Some guys go with that style because they like it and/or they think it's more appealing to the fans, but most don't. As far as saying that Zuffa lied about Showtime, who knows? I have to say that Dana is a huge dick if he cut Overeem for those reasons. How is the state of the UFC more fragile than it seems? I didn't really see him state a case for that.
I dont see your point.
and it looks like Dana is just a dick cuz he released every golden glory fighter.

1. 34 is not that old (especially if you take care of your body like FEDOR can do or does)
2. yes it was impossible to take fedor out.... just watch his early pride fights... in one match Crocop broke his nose and kicked his head over and over to no evail... in one match this submission specialist had him in a armbar and he just twisted-contourted his shoulder in a bad angle to get out and then he had him in a full-on trianglechoke and fedor just sat there for like 2 minutes holding his breath until the round was over.... shit like that.. thats why they made parodies in youtube about him being a ROBOT inside lol.... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=je543...eature=related
3. just speculation... have no idea for sure whats up with him
I haven't kept up with MMA much the past couple years, but man it's disappointing to see Fedor lose. Now I have my TapOut buddies saying that he was never good in the first place and all that crap that I'm sure has gone on a little bit in this thread. The Rampage/Jon Jones fight looks like it could be an interesting one, I think I'm gonna start watching more often again.
It was in reference to things he said in that podcast, but I don't exactly remember what. I think he was pumping up Hendo to defend Fedor, but Hendo recently lost to a WW. I don't think you can really defend Fedor that much for that loss.

Well, Sergei is still around. It sucks that they don't put out much info about what's happening. All we get are rumors of this and that.

it's when he was talking about the financial setbacks the UFC has gone through this year... about how the gate & revenue numbers are mostly down across the board, and the fights have not been particularly interesting as a whole. that's from what i recall.
and personally, i disagree with the idea that the fights have been poor.
actually, he's only the most recent guy i've seen comment on this. i remember ariel helwani bringing it up directly to white a week or two ago and white saying something like 'yea, we started this year slowly, but remember that the economy is also down... BUT hold on to your hats because it's going to be fireworks the rest of the way!'
if you look around the top sites that cover MMA - sherdog, ESPN, MMAfighting, MMAjunkie - you'll notice that just about each site has recently has an article or two talking about the UFC's recent slump.
doesn't make a whole lot of sense to me, if paying the managers instead of the fighters was the way it always worked and if nothing significant changed recently. i mean, what difference does it make who you pay? you still gotta pay someone.

or maybe i missed some key detail...
It doesn't make much sense to me, either. There's still another Golden Glory fighter still around, they signed Einemo earlier, as you said - who cares who they pay?
