UFC has always been a rip-off. I don't mind paying for it, but not as much as they charge for it.

he may be coming for it, but if he's as vulnerable backing up as he was tonight (and last time), he's in big trouble against cain. he also had a great opportunity to ground-and-pound a shellacked mark hunt in the third round and passed it up for some reason. not smart, considering that he needs to work his jitz and his ground game into the octagon a lot more for the sake of his experience and fighting career.

he also took a pretty fair beating tonight, and a tremendous whooping from cain the last time. that kind of damage adds up fast in fighting.

having said all that, i do think junior has the tools to beat cain, but the question is... can he prepare properly this time? IMO the fight with hunt should NOT have been that close given all the advantages he has.

you know this.

JDs will be better, wiser & everything ... But Cain's wrestling will still get the best of him. It'll be somewhat the same story like the 2nd fight ... but less swelling & blood this time. lol I just don't really see JDS gettin' past Cain's takedowns.

& if I were to choose between a great striker & a great wrestler. I'd pick the wrestler, just cuz taking someone down has more percentage than a striker tryna find that 1 shot or a striker tryna land punches knocking a guy out. Alistair Vs. Lesnar is a bad example, but Brock only tried to take him down once & Alistair just went to pick him apart mins. after. (Already saying it now, incase someone brings that up.) But we're talking about Cain Velasquez & JDS here, & GOD KNOWS WHAT CAIN CAN DO ON THE GROUND.

well, dana... i guess that means we need to see cain - bigfoot III to settle the issue, right? right??

the HW fight i really wanna see is junior - overeem. alistair only needed an extra month or so to recover from the injury... they should have just moved junior up a couple cards and we could have had it shortly.

cain and junior are by far the best HW's in the game... still with good careers ahead of them... so you shouldn't have them trading the belt this often IMO. at least have them fight twice before each rematch. build up a little suspense that way and make the whole division a bit more interesting, for gosh darn sake!

Lol, that's silly. You can never expect someone to be fighting at the same level all the time. But to say that the fight was "CLOSE" is ridiculous. 1,2, & 3 was all to JDS, there may have been a few exchanges .... but at the end of it JDS got the best of it, every round. & you gotta realize that Mark Hunt was the K-1 Grand Prix champion, so that's why JDs was fighting the way he was fighting earlier. But yo, c'mon ... he knocked the dude down with a big right hand.

LOL JDS WAS JDS tonight. People just expect & expect.

Yep..I don't think JDS can change anything to beat Cain. Cain's wrestling and stamina are just too good.

It's MMA so I mean there's always a chance of a flash knockout (ala JDS/Cain I), but in genuinely don't think any HW in UFC (or the world for that matter) can actually defeat Cain. Looking up and down the HW roster, aside from JDS I can't even see someone who I think would give Cain a very tough fight.

I think it's safe to officially add him into the category of Silva and Jones, where there's really nobody out there that's a legit 5-round threat to them (again this is barring a flash KO). They're apex champs.
