It looks like he needed a loss mentally, postfight he said that he was tired of fighting championship fights, he says that he doesn't want a rematch...he is pretty much saying that he wants Chris to take over the division and that he doesn't want to be so stressed out defending his belt anymore, and that he doesn't want to fight for the belt anymore at all. He thanked the UFC/USA for giving him the opportunity to make a life for himself and his family, pretty much saying that he made enough and that he just wants to enjoy life and fight for fun on a lower level now.

His legacy was already set. He's almost 40 years old and there is no point in a comeback.

Andy has a crazy chin, but he was completely relaxed, leaning back, with his chin in the air there.

Than Silva should retire.

He'll finish strongly as the second GOAT of MMA behind Fedor.

It's almost as if he let him do it.

It's funny that the two GOATS Andy and Fedor were so much more okay with losing than their fans.

Wow that ppv was worth every penny. A bunch of good fights and history gets completely altered.

I'm still in shock. But while everyone's talkin about Silva losing, Weidman deserves a hell of a lot of credit for winning. Imagine how hard it is to keep focused while the best fighter of all time is show boating in your face and the crowd is laughing and cheering him on, he's mocking you and pretending to be hurt and Weidman, the WRESTLER, knocks him the hell out. All the praise in the world for the new Middleweight champ Chris "the Spoiler" Weidman

Silva is retarded then. Needed a loss mentally? So losing by brutal KO so he doesnt have to fight title fights anymore makes better sense to him than to beat Weidman and then retiring? What's so unfortunate from his perspective is I think its a safe bet he would've beat Weidman had he not goofed around like an idiot...oh well.

Jon Jones = new p4p best...

trust me this is no tankjob. No great champion or any sane person will tank by getting themselves knocked out cold. If anything it would be a submission or ref stoppage.
