The one that Machida had very little trouble with.

Waving your hands in the air shouldnt count as strikes.Machida won that but a clean sweep or losing 1 round is retarded.

He was getting jabbed and got hit by some right hands gegard won round 2 and 4 for sure.

scored 2nd round for machida even though it was close. machida got him with two high kicks. the first one would have dropped some. he also hit him with a ton of low kicks. plus, he was just the more active fighter in the first two rounds.

round 4 is the only round i felt mousasi won. he was simply outclassed.

Hardly outclassed him

I usually hate these stats and still do but

I saw moose check alot of kicks and block machidas kicks.Iam reading alot of people also saying the crowd ooooing and awwwing because they were cheering a brazilian they even boo'd when moose had machida on the ground.

This was a closer fight then you guys thought it was.

how many of those strikes were weak leg kicks or weak strikes from the ground? outclassed doesn't mean dominated but i thought it was fairly clear that machida won. i really want to know what FM considers 'significant'.

Yeah, I scored it 49-48 (I thought 2 rounds were 10-10) for Machida. I don't get the 50-45 scores outside of home country judging. Usually when you're backing up the entire time, then you have to win in some other area to make up for it, but I guess you don't when you're fighting in your home country. Not that it really matters if it's 50-45 or 48-47, still a win for Machida. Meh, judges are absolutely allergic to 10-10 rounds for some reason. Little things sway people's opinions in close rounds that are either arbitrary, biased or unbalanced. If neither fighter establishes himself as the winner of a round, then call it 10-10.

Mousasi needs to mix up his arsenal more.

Just watched the fight. As expected, a fast counter puncher beats another set up fighter. Speed was the difference. I only gave Mousasi the 2nd round. Good technical fight though.
